My Summer Project: Beyond Brisbane

Please pray for me as I am going to be involved in a project held by Student Life (a.k.a Campus Crusade for Christ) in the end of this month. This is an outreach project as well as a time where students walk their faith and grow more in God. I really need support in doing this, and I need to train myself to be confident as well.

Student Life considers me and other students in the project as volunteers – I personally consider this as a faith training project, and exciting way of showing God’s love! Anyway, students interested in the project applied, and if we are accepted then we go to the next round which is to fundraise. There are several projects going on hence the amount of money should be raise is different one to each other.

For me, I applied for Beyond Brisbane. This is an outreach to international uni students around Brisbane. I choose the project because I think that this is the most relevant one for me, as I am an international student myself. And I do have the heart for them. I even strongly believe that God brought me here to ‘train my hands’ to love Him more through my loving my intl friends.

It is for two-weeks training and accommodation for the project itself and for the volunteers needs. I may not know you, the one reading this blog posting at the moment. But thank you for reading about what I am doing. I would also like to invite you to partner with me to respond of Jesus’ Great Commission. We could be partner in prayers.

CIAO hello I TUTTI everybody! Part 2

Oke. Saya lupa tujuan sebebnarnya saya menulis judul di atas. Saya sambung di sini ya. HAI SEMUANYA.. HAI GADIS! HAI PERJAKA! HAI WANITA! HAI PRIA! HAI TEMAN-TEMAN! Hehehe..perkenalkan, saya penulis blog ini.. Saya cukup ordinary, ga over ga under. yah, pokonya biasa-biasa aja. Tapi saya mau jadi luar biasa. Hihihi..kalau udah baca posting saya sebelumnya mengerti lah ya.. Umur saya, by this time, 24 tahun (yess! Saya belum 25 waktu saya nulis posting ini! wakakaakkk..) Saya bekerja di sebuah perusahaan luar biasa, yang sudah saya impikan sejak lama. Well I have to admit, membanggakan lah perusahaan tempat saya bekerja ini. Despite any situational circumstances, it’s a very fun place to be!

More about me,, Saya suka belajar bahasa Inggris sedari saya kelas 3 sd. Saya suka dan cinta bahasa Italia semenjak saya suka sama Alessandro Del Piero, kelas 2 SMP dulu (Saya Juventini!). Hmm..sekitar tahun 1997 lah ya berarti. Anything related to Italy is everything I have always long for. Tapi sayang, saya ga langsung ambil kursus Italia waktu itu. Banyak lah alasannya. Saya baru serius menekuni bahasa orang-orang ganteng itu di awal tahun 2008 ini. Serius dalam arti secara akademis gitu..which is mengambil kursus di Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Pusat Kebudayaan Italia di bilangan Menteng, Jakarta. Jadi, jangan bingung ya kalau di blog ini bakala ada banyak praktek hasil pembelajaran italiano saya.. Ma per mi piace l’inglese anche, parlo in inglese molto in qui scrivere.. (bapa-bapa ibu-ibu yang lancar ber-italiano tolong dikoreksi yaaa..)

Buat yang bingung dengan arti judul posting di atas: Huruf kapital-nya adalah italian translation dari huruf-huruf kecil dalam bahasa Inggris di sebelahnya.
